Mexico is a popular destination for expats, especially with Americans choosing to live there. But there are many other countries where Mexican expats originate from including, Guatemala, Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, Cuba, Spain, El Salvador, and Canada.
Here are some things to consider if you're thinking of moving to Mexico as an expat:
Cost of living - To live comfortably in Mexico, you'll likely need between $600 and $2,000 per month.

Visas - You can live in Mexico for up to four years on a temporary basis. After four years, you'll need to apply for a Permanent Resident Visa to stay.
