Las Terrenas is an unspoiled location on the North East coast of the Dominican Republic.  The location is well known for its gastronomy as there are over 5,000 French and Italian citizens currently living in Las Terrenas where some of them have opened restaurants with great food.  Also, Las Terrenas is know for the simplicity of the surroundings as you can go every morning to the French Boulangerie to have breakfast or to the fisherman’s village to buy the catch of the day.  In addition, you have plenty of natural resources to explore like the Limon waterfall, Los Haitises National Park, scuba diving, kite surf, fishing, virgin beaches, whale watching, etc.

Distances from Air Transfers : There are two International Airports within a driving distance to the project.  Las Americas and El Catey International Airport.  Las Americas is approximately 2 hours from the project and El Catey is 20 minutes from the project.  El Catey was recently opened and doesn’t have yet a fluent flight arrival.  It does have two direct fights from Canada (Toronto and Montreal).  Las Americas is a very busy airport and has direct flights from lots of cities and countries.

In addition, the roads that take you from both airports to the project is a private road which was recently constructed and finished.  This is the only private road in the DR and is one of the best kept and maintain roads in the country.  Furthermore, it was recently named by National Geographic as the 100 best roads to drive

Finance Finance is available in USD and Dominican Pesos.  Banks normally loan 60 – 70% of the appraised value of the property.  They can offer 20 year mortgage with variable rates.
